Hue is the ancient capital of Vietnam, where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945. It is the pride of the Vietnamese and is still well preserved.
Located 5 kilometers from the city, the Imperial Citadel is the must-see place in your trip. Along the Perfume River, you can visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the imperial tombs. On the right bank, the old colonial city, the cathedral, Chinese pagodas, the Dong Ba market and various tombs of dignitaries, make the city completely unique.
In 1993 the complex of Hue was declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO.
