Detailed program

Day 01. Ho Chi Minh arrival

Arrive at the Tan Son Nhat airport. Pick up by our guide and driver, transfer to the city. Check in the hotel. Check in time: 14:00. All day free for your relax after a long flight. Welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel

Day 02. Ho Chi Minh visit

The tour will take you to visit our bustling and friendly city. Start with the War Remnant Museum, the Museum of thematic research, collection, storage, preservation and display of the material, photographs, artifacts on the evidence of the crime and the consequences of the war that the invasion force has caused to Vietnam. Next is for visiting Cho Lonthe city’s Chinatown – a reminder of Chinese influence on the country. Walk down the hundreds of small side street where people buying and selling a huge variety of items. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda, we continue our trip with Reunification Palace, which is now preserved as a museum, including the underground communications bunkers, headquarters for the Saigon Government during the American War. Nearby are Notre Dame Cathedral - an impressive neo-Romanesque cathedral & Post office – the city’s major landmark. The last destination of the day is Ben Thanh market where everything is for sale. Back to hotel for overnight.

Day 03. Ho Chi Minh - My Tho - check in Pandaw cruise - Ben Tre

Transfer from Saigon to the river port for embarkation. After lunch, we journey by sampans through mangroves and bamboo forests to the fruit orchards of Ben Tre. This is an area rich in birdlife which we will explore via local transport before transferring to a local rowboat. We will journey slowly through the bamboo covered canals before arriving at a village specialising in making local products. In the evening you will be entertained by a Vietnamese dance troupe on deck.

Day 04. Cruise to Con Phuoc

Sailing through the delta offers a real insight into life along this vast waterway. After lunch, we pass through a small canal and head ashore to Con Phuoc Island where we visit local craftspeople weaving bamboo baskets the traditional way. After a demonstration, we try our hand at making our own. We then take a local tuk tuk for a drive through this peaceful village, stopping at a 100 year old church and meeting more of the friendly local community.

Day 05. Cruise to Chau Doc

We go alongside at the picturesque border town of Chau Doc where we visit the floating fish farms by sampan. We make a stop at a Chham Village and observe the lives of Vietnamese Muslims before taking minivans for a short drive to Sam Mountain, location of Phuoc Dien Tu or the Hang Pagoda. We climb the 400 steps to the top to visit the pagoda. Upon return to ship, we navigate a web of canals before dropping anchor on the Vietnam/Cambodia border to undergo Immigration formalities. During high water periods, we will instead visit Long Thuan village.

Day 06. Cruise to PhnomPenh. Chek out Pandaw cruise

After breakfast, disembark your Pandaw Expedition in Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh.

Day 07. Phnom Penh - Siem Reap

Today, transfer to Siem Reap by private car, you have chance to see Skun market - the unique place selling spider in Cambodi, also Continue to Sambor Prei Kuk which was the ancient capital of Chenla built in the early seventh century. Continue drive to Siem Reap and arrival there at evening. Overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 08. Angkor tour

In the morning, after breakfast, visit in the complex of Angkor Thom by Tuk tuk, including the sites Bayon, Terraces of Elephants and Leper King, Tep Pranam, Prah Palulay, Phimeanakas, Baphuon.
Afternoon, we start exploring the Wonder of the World “Angkor Wat temple” which was built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II and is considered as a masterpiece of Khmer architecture.
Dinner with Apsara Show at local restaurant. Overnight in hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 09. Siem Reap - Beng Mealea - Phnom Kulen

Excursion to Phnom Kulen mountains and Kbal Spean by bus. Lunch and bath at the waterfall (according to the season), before continuation to Bantey Srei and return to Siem Reap. Overnight at Siem Reap
Siem Reap - Phnom Kulen (60km) 1:30hour transfer
Phnom Kulen - Kbal Spean (30km): 45 min
REP-Kbal Spean 45km - 1 hour transfer

Day 10. Siem Reap departure

Client will be picked up and transferred by private car from the hotel to the airport for your onward flight say goodbye and end our services.
