Detailed program

Day 01. Hanoi Arrival

Arrival at Noi bai Airport. Welcome by your guide and driver, then transfer in center of Hanoi. The rest of the day free. Overnight in hotel in Hanoi.

Day 02. Hanoi city tour – Street food tour

We have a full day to visit the today capital of Vietnam. Hanoi is famous for its verdant tree-lined streets, colonial architecture houses, charming monuments and its people's interesting lifestyle. We start with the visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilts house where we can learn about his modest-but-great life, then Tran Quoc Pagoda. Then we discover the Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius and his disciples. This is also Vietnam's first university founded in 1076. On the same day, visit of Ethnological museum. Enjoy a water puppet show in the afternoon.
Start walking in the Old Quarter and indulging in the famous street food culture. It's a great introduction to the gastronomy of the country, and beyond the bún chả and bánh mì vendors, you'll also try some delicious Vietnamese beverages like the famous "egg coffee"—perfect for those who like their daily caffeine jolt combined with a decadent dessert.

Day 03. Hanoi - Ba Vi Ecotour - Mai Chau

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Ba Vi. Arrive to Ri village where you will start the trip at your host’s house with a welcome drink. Meet Duoc (Mr.) – a Vietnam War veteran and tea-farm owner who tells historical stories with his own experience. Follow Duoc to his vast tea-farm and learn how to harvest tea leaves. Have a ten-minute drive to visit another host family in Moc village where you will enjoy a fun cooking class with Chin (Mrs.) Stroll around the village and visit some local families to understand rural lifestyle. Enjoy a cycling trip through beautiful paddy fields and interact with local farmers by chance. Wrap up your countryside tour by a traditional foot bathing in warm water with herbs. Continue to transfer to Mai Chau. Overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 04. Mai Chau – hiking

After breakfast, a short transfer by car to Pu Poc. Stop at Buoc Village where you begin your walk. After 1 hour of walking, crossing evergreen forest and small farms, the walk is becoming easier on small paths, on the way of hiking, you will see the house on stilt of Thai people, lush fruits garden, fish ponds. A good experience of contacting with local people, chat with them, learn about the traditional custom and daily life of Thai people. Ends of meaningful hiking day. Then back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05. Mai Chau – Ninh Binh

Leaving the peaceful valley of Thai people, we drive towards Ninh Binh. Continue to visit Tam Coc, the guide take you to the boat station (around 500m by walking) where you have 2 hour rowing sampan trip through tunnels and paddy rice field surrounded by rocky formation. The next will visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century included Dinh and Le temples. Free time in Tam Coc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06. Ninh Binh – Lan Ha Bay

After breakfast, we transfer to Lan Ha Bay, where we board a traditional junk for a cruise among the thousands spectacular limestone islands that make up this UNESCO World Heritage Site. We enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on board while the captain heads out for the horizon. Kayaks will be an opportunity to do some paddling this afternoon. We stay in comfortable cabins on board.

Day 07. Lan Ha Bay visit

Say hello to the Bay with a pleasant stretching Taichi and enjoy morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in our cozy Vietnamese decorated dining area while heading to Viet Hai fishing Village on the Bay. Cycling or electric car visiting local life of a fishing village on the island and melting yourself in fresh air of lush and evergreen of trees and little local life in the village of Viet Hai.
Back to the mother boat and free on board.

Day 08. Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi

After breakfast, we continue the cruise passing the rock formations which tower out of the bay. Visit one of famous caves. Upon return to the boat to freshen up and finish packing. Having brunch served in dining room while heading back to Ha long City. Transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 09. Hanoi flight to Luang Prabang

You are free at your own leisure before transferring to the airport for flight to Luang Prabang. Our guide & driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10. Luang Prabang visit

Visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai then climb up to the top of mountain Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic view of the city at sunset and the Mekong River. Explore the night market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textile made by local & hill tribe people of Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 11. Luang Prabang - Laos Spirit Adventure

This is a full day trip combining a rafting tour with sightseeing and an exciting elephant ride to/from Tad Sae Waterfall (with an alternative route in dry season). After pick up from your hotel we proceed to the Adventure and Elephant camp. After crossing a small river you will be introduced to some Asian elephants and venture on a 1hr – 1 ½ hr elephant ride through forest, plantations and fields. The ride concludes at the Tad Sae waterfalls. (In the dry season we ride on a village trail) After visiting the waterfall, lunch is served. A relaxing 30-minute rafting tour takes us back to the resort. The evening is free at your leisure.

Day 12. Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave

After breakfast we head back towards Luang Prabang to enjoy a short-guided tour of the city's oldest temple, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong where you can see the impressive “tree of life” mosaic set in colored glass. We then board an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which gives us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. We’ll make sure to stop at the Pak Ou Caves, sanctuaries consisting of two large caverns, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images. We will also stop at a few villages during the day, including Ban Xanghai where the local rice wine is produced. We return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon after seeing Ban Phanom, a village well known for its hand weaving.  
Overnight in Luang Prabang.

You are free at your own leisure until transferring to the airport for your departure flight. Say good by and End our services.
