According to the Management Board of the Mausoleum, the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the adjacent Monument to Heroic Martyrs in Hanoi will be temporarily closed for annual maintenance and renovation from June 12th to August 14th, 2023. After this annual maintenance, the mausoleum will reopen and operate as usual.
In addition to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square is home to many historic buildings and tourist sites such as the Ho Chi Minh Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, house-on-stilts, fish pond, and garden in the Presidential Palace, which will remain open to the public during the maintenance work.
