Detailed program

Day 01. Hanoi arrival

Arrival at Noi bai Airport by flight (TBA) in Hanoi. Welcome by your guide and driver, then transfer in center of Hanoi. The rest of the day free. Overnight in hotel in Hanoi.

Day 02. Hanoi city tour

We have a full day to visit the today capital of Vietnam. Hanoi is famous for its verdant tree-lined streets, colonial architecture houses, charming monuments and its people's interesting lifestyle. We start with the visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilts house where we can learn about his modest-but-great life, then Tran Quoc Pagoda. Then we discover the Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius and his disciples. This is also Vietnam's first university founded in 1076. On the same day, visit of Ethnological museum. Enjoy a water puppet show in late afternoon.

Day 03. Hanoi – Mai Chau

Drive by bus to Mai Chau. During the trip we enter the dramatic northern mountainous area where you will be overwhelmed by sublime beauty and serenity. Arrival in Mai Chau town, we bike to Van village through a villager´s trails. Have lunch in local family. In the afternoon we bike deeply in the Mai Chau valley, we pass through many White Thai house on stilt. The landscape is picturesque. The bus and supporting vehicle come to get us back to Van village. Overnight in Mai Chau.

Day 04. Mai Chau Free Day

Day 05. Mai Chau – Tam Coc

After breakfast we bid farewell for the friendly Thai people and drive back to the delta. After 3 hours we arrive in Nho Quan and begin 4 hour biking trip through a spectacular way to Tam Coc. Stop at Kenh Ga village for lunch in a small local restaurant. Continue cycling in the afternoon to Hoa Lu then Tam Coc through an area of astounding natural beatuy with splendid limestone peaks. In the evening, we have a massage by Blind People, a Project who help disable people for earning money by themselves.

Day 06. Tam Coc visit

Breakfast at hotel. Take a boat trip to visit Tam Coc (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang Ba) with a lot of sparkling hanging down stalactites made by miraculous hands of nature. Have lunch in Tam Coc. In the afternoon, car trip to visit Kenh Ga hotspring, which found in 1940s by the French and became a "health care" center since then. boat trip to enjoy the beautiful sceneries surrounded by mountains, fresh - air and wet rice fields. The hotspring here is very special because it contains natriclorua, kaliclorua, canxi and temperature about 53C. Continue visiting "Van Trinh cave" which is the most marvelous one in Ninh Binh province. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 07. Tam Coc - Lan Ha Bay

In the morning, pick up at hotel and transfer to boat pier. Check in aboard with welcome drink from crew member while manager introduce the safety briefing and the boat cruising forward to the Bay. Let your vacation start with a delicious lunch set menu in restaurant, then visisting floating fishing village, you will have chance to learn about the living of fishermen and feel free with some option activities: bamboo boat or kayaking.
Enjoy your time with the beautiful sunset on the bay, feel free to relax on boat, join Squid fishing at the area of Reception deck. Overnight on boat.

Day 08. Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi

In the early morning, wake up early to start your perfect day with Tai Chi class or watch the sunrise on the top deck. Enjoying a cup of coffee and tea is ideal choice. Breakfast is served in the restaurant. Return the boat and check out the cabin. Then have brunch in restaurant while the boat sails back to pier. We settle the bill at the end of trip. Disembark the boat and return to port. Driver will be awaiting at the pier and then transfer you back to Hanoi. Overnight at the hotel

Day 09. Hanoi – Flight to Can Tho

Today, we transfer to the airport for flight to Can Tho. Transfer to hotel for check in and overnight in Can Tho.

Day 10. Can Tho - Song Xanh cruise

Meet at the Victoria Can Tho Resort jetty at 10:00 am. Your crew welcomes you on board your private sampan with cold towels and a refreshing drink. Cruise the waterways of the Mekong Delta, observing villagers going about their daily activities against picturesque landscapes while your attentive crew serves tea and seasonal fruit. Sail past local barges laden with produce from the Delta as you enjoy lunch on board, with the mighty Hau River as a backdrop, one of the two largest arms of the Mekong. Arrive in Sa Dec, step ashore to visit the Kien An Cung, ancient Chinese architecture has played an important part in the Chinese community in Dong Thap for nearly a hundred years. Then dinner is served onboard. Enjoy your night on board the Song Xanh, on the Tien River.

Day 11. Cai Be - Saigon

Begin cruising in the early morning hours at about 6:30 am, just as the villages begin to stir and children get ready for school. After a leisurely breakfast on board, our first shore excursion visits a colorful Cao Dai temple and a small brick factory. Arriving at Cai Be, step ashore to visit local cottage industries that utilize products from the Delta like rice and coconuts to make tasty snacks including puffed rice and chewy coconut candy. Board the local row boat to better explore the Tan Phong islet. Our cruise ends at Le Longanier Restaurant. Lunch is served in this exquisite riverside colonial-style villa set in lush tropical gardens and surrounded by fruit plantations, a throwback to the elegant lifestyle enjoyed by a privileged few in Indochinese times. Transfer back to Saigon.

Day 12 . Saigon Visit

The tour will take you to visit our bustling and friendly city. Start with the War Remnant Museum, the Museum of thematic research, collection, storage, preservation and display of the material, photographs, artifacts on the evidence of the crime and the consequences of the war that the invasion force has caused to Vietnam. Next is for visiting Cho Lon – the city’s Chinatown – a reminder of Chinese influence on the country. Walk down the hundreds of small side street where peole buying and selling a huge variety of items. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda, we continue our trip with Reunification Palace, which is now preserved as a museum, including the underground communications bunkers, headquarters for the Saigon Government during the American War. Nearby are Notre Dame Cathedral - an impressive neo-Romanesque cathedral & Post office – the city’s major landmark. The last destination of the day is Ben Thanh market where everything is for sale. Back to hotel for overnight.

Today transfer to the airport for departure flight. End of services
